Did You Know Your Building Could Talk?

Aug 23, 2016

You read that correctly. Your building has the ability to talk. At least when it comes to data and notifications.

If your location is connected, you and select staff would have the ability to control or monitor aspects of your location through a smartphone or tablet. If you run an office, this means that employees can reserve a boardroom from their phones while you keep the building's lights on a timer so they don't run for longer than they are needed.

It can be reality for more than office buildings. This technology is applicable to larger locations such as airports and hotels. By monitoring where certain employees have checked in, you can make sure that certain high traffic areas in your location are well-staffed. There are also options to have your utilities connected so you can receive notifications if there is an issue before it turns into a financial burden.
